We have been preparing for the overnight kids camp for the weekend these past couple days. We have painted rooms, prepared skits, and cleaned, cleaned, cleaned!!! The students worked hard, long, and hot days. We got to bless the Honduran staff by making them poutine for supper. They went up for seconds and thirds so that was a good sign!
The camp started Saturday morning with 47 kids attending. The staff here are incredible and so our job has been leading kids to different stations and building relationships with them. It is crazy how you can still build a friendship with these kids despite the language barrier.
Everyone is doing well! Drinking lots of water and eating lots of beans. Our team is growing closer and closer and it’s really a beautiful thing!
