Central Alberta Youth Unlimited has a volunteer board that provides strategic direction for the organization and support the CAYU Executive Director. We meet regularly to discuss the vision and mission, monitor the finances and provide recommendations and feedback to the leadership team.
We have the same passion for bringing lasting change in youth in Central Alberta as the rest of the staff and volunteers. We consider ourselves a 'Policy Board', meaning that we provide input and direction to the organization through reviewing and developing policies that will ensure that CAYU stays true to its Vision and Mission. All the day-to-day operational decisions are made by the Executive Director and the Leadership Team. We are striving for a board that is representative of the different ministry areas of CAYU: Ponoka, Maskwacis, Lacombe, Rimbey, Sylvan Lake, Crestomere, Blackfalds and Red Deer. We are looking for people with diverse backgrounds and skill sets, united in a willingness to serve youth in Central Alberta.
