Youth Engagement Three Hills
In January of 2021, I was working as a professional video game developer. After a year at YU’s Lifeteams in 2020/2021, I knew that youth work would be a good fit for me, but I didn’t know how it would fit in as I was pursuing another job. One thing led to the next and the Lord had made a way for me to join on with Youth for Christ in Nanaimo BC as a new full time job! It has been so exciting to get to be a part of God's Kingdom work with YFC/YU for the last couple of years. But recently I've felt a strong calling to pursue Aviation in Three Hills Alberta. Hence the move, and now the opportunity to continue working with YFC/YU has presented itself via the Central Alberta Chapter! I don't know where the Lord will lead me next, but I feel a deep sense of peace stepping into this role, continuing youth work and joining the team in Three Hills! There is no shortage of need when it comes to teenagers and their relationships with Christ. I love connecting with individual youth and meeting them where they are at. I'm in my 20’s, born and raised on Vancouver Island, and in my spare time I love programming, working with computers and creating. Getting to use these skills has been a big part of the Ministry work I have done in the past, and I hope to continue some of that in this new chapter!
