Counselling Program

Giving youth and young mothers a chance to be heard

Youth Unlimited Counselling Services began in January of 2017 as a response to the need for help with mental health of youth within Central Alberta. It is well-known that a large majority of mental health issues have their onset during childhood or adolescence. Not only is there an obvious crisis occurring for young people, but there is also a lack of resources and knowledge on the topic. This is the reason that CAYU has provided counselling services for youth in Central Alberta. The intent of the program is to provide affordable counselling to these young people who are struggling. As the need continues to grow, CAYU is looking for funding to be able to support those who are in need of inexpensive counselling. Your one-time donation or monthly partnership towards the counselling program will make sure that all youth can experience hope and wholeness through this vital program, regardless of their financial means or ability. Whenever necessary, counselling is offered at subsidized rates on a sliding scale, taking into account the financial needs of each individual and family.
