At Young Families (formerly Stepping Stones), we are building a community where young moms can find connection, encouragement and support. Through peer relationships, opportunities to develop essential life skills, and one-on-one support, we walk alongside young moms as they navigate parenthood in a safe and supportive environment.

What makes Young Families unique from other youth parent programs is that we are fundamentally relational. We believe meaningful connection and mentoring are essential in helping young moms make positive and lasting changes in their lives. Through a holistic approach, we support each mom’s mental, physical, social, spiritual and emotional well-being as she builds a stable foundation for herself and her children.

Lacombe Young Families

Lacombe Young Families will resume in September (Thursdays, 9:30am - 11:30am at Bethel CRC).

Ponoka Young Families

Ponoka Young Families - Thursday mornings from 9:30am - 11:30am at First Baptist Church (5109 57th Ave., Ponoka).

Red Deer Young Families

Red Deer Young Families is held once a month on Thursday mornings from 10-11:30 at Bethany Baptist Church (3901 44 St. Red Deer).
